Vaping makes me thirsty?

Yes, experiencing increased thirst while vaping is relatively common. There are several reasons why this might happen:

Dehydration: Both Propylene Glycol (PG) and Vegetable Glycerin (VG), the two main base components in vape juice, can cause your mouth and throat to feel dry. PG is known for its ability to absorb water, and VG is a humectant, which means it attracts and retains moisture. As a result, vaping can dehydrate you, leading to increased thirst.

Nicotine: Nicotine is known to have dehydrating effects. It can cause your body to release more urine, leading to a loss of fluids and potentially leaving you feeling thirsty.

Flavorings: Some e-liquids contain flavorings that can also contribute to dry mouth and increased thirst. These flavorings might have ingredients that affect saliva production.

To combat this, it's essential to stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially if you're a frequent vaper. This will help maintain your overall health and reduce the dry mouth and increased thirst often associated with vaping.
